About Us

Whether you're looking for more information about the people behind the packets (hint: a former TCU Chi Omega and Recruitment VP for Pepperdine Delta Gamma run our day-to-day operations), or you're hunting for additional details about the products we offer, you've come to the right place! Read on to learn more about who we are and why we're still using terminology like PNM and RIF on a daily basis.

We'll get around to talking about all of the product-y stuff in a minute, but first and foremost, we want you to know that we're not just here to sell you something. We're here to guide you to and through the sorority recruitment process, and to do everything we can to make it as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! Why? Because we've been there.

Fidgeting with our spaghetti straps while standing in line with fifty other girls, wondering if our dress is too formal for an open house.

Leaving a party after a not-so-great conversation and fighting fears about not ending up in the right place.

Crying happy tears when we opened our bid cards and realized that it really IS possible to find friends through this crazy process called sorority recruitment.

We won't lie: Sorority recruitment isn't the easiest thing you'll ever go through. If you're anything like us, throughout the week you'll think everything from I'm gonna throw up I'm so nervous to I'm laughing so hard I might pee. You'll experience disappointment and excitement side-by-side. You'll make decisions that might lead you down a different path than the one your roommate is taking. In the end, it's our hope that you'll walk away with a community that lasts far longer than the four years you'll spend in college. Whether you ultimately end up accepting a bid or you decide joining a sorority just isn't for you, however, going through recruitment is an excellent chance to get outside your comfort zone, make new connections, practice those people skills, and get involved on campus right from the start. Why not give it a go?

The best advice we—or really anyone—can give you going into recruitment is to be yourself. Sending out a Recruitment Information Packet that matches your style isn't the only way to communicate who you are, what you've accomplished, and what you're interested in right from the get-go, but it's a pretty great (and fun!) way to start the process.

Crystal DelaHoz, a senior portrait photographer based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, launched in the spring of 2016 after consulting with countless senior girls and their mommas about the sorority recruitment process. Session after session, the story was the same. Selecting the right portraits for a Recruitment Information Packet was the easy part. Compiling a résumé, tracking down alumnae, gathering letters of recommendation, and figuring out where to send everything? Clear as mud. That's why today, Crystal provides Recruitment Information Packets that are as pretty as they are professional. Her goal: to make the sorority recruitment process as streamlined as possible so that moms and daughters can do less stressing and more savoring during the last semester of high school. In between senior portrait sessions in the spring, you can frequently find her writing letters of recommendation for girls rushing Chi Omega.

Karley Kiker, media maven + writer extraordinaire, presses "send" on our weekly Sorority Scoop emails (and makes sure to tweet links to helpful articles + advice from current chapter members as soon as she's through). As the former VP of Recruitment for Delta Gamma at Pepperdine University, she has inside knowledge about how the process works, which she supplements with a heavy dose of Googling and interviewing to ensure that we're always sharing the most current information possible with Sorority Scoop group members.

JessicaJessica Williams, our graphic design guru, is who you have to thank for the gorgeous packet designs available on We're of the opinion that Jessica's knack for selecting typography is second to none, and are always in awe of the perfect résumés she produces. In addition to being the owner of Jamber Creative, Jessica designs for (and she's won over 150 awards while doing so). You'll have the opportunity to work directly with Jessica if you choose to order a custom logo—and seriously, you won't believe what she creates!

Our Recruitment Information Packets are available in a variety of unique + chic designs, each of which speaks to a different personality type and style. In addition to selecting your favorite design, our packets also give you the ability to customize your color palette. Looking for a design that’s 100% unique to you? We also offer one-of-a-kind personal logos! You’ll find this option on our order form, and if you select it, rest assured that we won’t re-sell, promote, or otherwise share your design for an entire season. For those who would like to take a more DIY approach, we also offer à la carte items—résumés, mailing labels, personalized stickers, and note card sets—that can help streamline the process of putting together your packet.
